2. Teacher Verification
Before teachers are assigned to activities, MelonMinds may conduct verification procedures including:
- Identity verification
- Qualification verification
- Experience verification
- Police verification where applicable
- Reference checks
- Internal quality review
3. Parent Responsibilities
- Provide accurate child information.
- Inform teachers about allergies or medical conditions.
- Ensure the activity area is safe and appropriate.
- Remain available during the session when required.
- Report any safety concerns immediately.
4. Teacher Responsibilities
- Treat every child with dignity and respect.
- Maintain professional behaviour at all times.
- Use only age-appropriate activities.
- Respect family privacy.
- Avoid inappropriate language or behaviour.
- Follow MelonMinds safety guidelines.
5. Prohibited Behaviour
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
- Physical punishment or intimidation.
- Verbal abuse or discrimination.
- Inappropriate physical contact.
- Sharing personal information without permission.
- Taking photos or videos without parent consent.
- Requesting direct payments outside MelonMinds.
6. Photography & Media
Teachers must not capture photographs or videos of children unless the parent or legal guardian has given clear permission.
7. Emergency Situations
If an emergency occurs during a session, teachers should:
- Ensure the child's immediate safety.
- Notify the parent immediately.
- Contact emergency services when required.
- Report the incident to MelonMinds.
8. Reporting Concerns
Parents, teachers and staff are encouraged to report any concern related to child safety. MelonMinds will review reports promptly and take appropriate action.
9. Zero Tolerance
MelonMinds follows a zero-tolerance approach towards child abuse, harassment, exploitation, discrimination or any conduct that compromises a child's safety.
